This Privacy Policy describes how HIG Premium Finance LLC ("HIG," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit higpf.com (the "Site") or contact us through it. HIG provides insurance premium financing (commercial lines and, in select states, personal lines) through licensed insurance agencies and brokers. This Policy covers the Site only; information relating to a financed account is handled under the notices provided with the premium finance agreement. 2. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit a form on the Site, such as a quote request, an agency appointment request, or a general inquiry, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, agency name, business email address, the states in which you write business, and details about the insurance account you are asking about. Please do not submit sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers or financial account numbers) through the Site.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time of your visit. The Site does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. The payment estimator on the Site runs entirely in your browser and does not transmit the figures you enter to us.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your quote, appointment, or general inquiries and to communicate with you about our program.
- To evaluate and onboard agencies that request an appointment with HIG.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To comply with applicable law, regulation, and our record-keeping obligations.
4. How forms are processed
Forms on the Site are processed by Formspree, Inc., a third-party form-handling service that transmits your submission to our business email. Formspree processes submissions on our behalf and under its own privacy policy, available at formspree.io. Form submissions are also protected by an automated spam filter.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: (a) service providers who help us operate the Site and our business (such as hosting, email, and form-processing providers), who are permitted to use it only to provide services to us; (b) regulators, courts, or law enforcement when required by law or to protect our legal rights; and (c) a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Once your agency is appointed with HIG, information about financed accounts is handled under the terms of your agency agreement and the applicable premium finance agreement, not this website policy.
6. Retention
We keep inquiry and form information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, to maintain our business relationship, and to meet our legal and regulatory record-keeping obligations.
7. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information we receive. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You may contact us at info@higpf.com to ask what information we hold about you, to request a correction or deletion, or to opt out of marketing communications. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we will honor requests as required by those laws.
9. Children
The Site is intended for insurance professionals and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Third-party sites
The Site may link to third-party websites and platforms, including the PBS quoting platform used by appointed agencies. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was most recently revised. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
